External databases

Most names in DiversityTaxonNames were imported from external sources. These sources are documented in the area External data sources.

To enter or delete an external datasource, use the

and

button button respectively. With the

button you will get a detailed information about the external database. For a valid URI you can use the

button to open the corresponding website in a separate window.

To edit the datasources themselve, choose TaxonNameExternalID and TaxonNameExternalDatabase
